ANIMAL PHOTO SESSION QUESTIONS:
Q. Can I and/or other human family members pose with my animal for some of the photos? A. Absolutely! I enjoy taking photos of humans and animals together. The love and devotion they share with each shines through the photos and enhances the experience and the resulting images.
Q. Can I have more than one pet/animal in the photos? A. Yes. Depending on how many additional animals you want me to photograph in the same pose, there may be a small additional cost involved for additional animals. But we will discuss that before the session so there are no surprises for either of us.
Q. How long will an animal photo session last? A. Typically a session will take one to two hours, depending on your pet's disposition and mood on the day of the session. I take time to talk to and get acquainted with your animal before I ever take out my camera. I don't rush through the session. I want to capture the best possible photos of your animal during our time together.
Q. Do you use digital, film, or both for the photographs? A. I prefer digital, but if you want me to use film, I can do that. My digital cameras are the equivalent of film in quality, however, and with digital photography the turnaround time to receive your photos is much faster.
VIDEO BIOGRAPHY AND SLIDE SHOW QUESTIONS:
Q. How long will a video biography interview session last? A. I like to spend between one and two hours on the interview. That way, I have plenty of footage when I begin the editing process. I rarely go over two hours because it becomes too tiring for both the interviewer (me) and the subject.
Q: How long until I receive my project? A: Allow up to 21 business days (M-F) for me to complete your video biography, and up to 14 days for your photo slide show, starting from the time I finish the interviews and/or receive the photos and other items I need. Depending on my work load, you could receive your finished project much sooner. Major holidays, such as Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc., can cause a backlog, so be sure to order early during these times of the year. Q: Will the DVD play on my DVD player? A: The DVD is compatible with 95% of DVD players on the market. I advise you to check your DVD player to make sure it will play DVD-R discs if you have any doubts. Q: Can I use my favorite song on my video? A: Because of copyright laws, I do not use copyrighted music on the videos I produce. Since your favorite song is probably copyrighted, it is unlikely that I can use it on your video. However, I own a large selection of music that can be used on your video because I have purchased the rights to it. Tell me what type of music you would like and we can select something appropriate from my music library. Q: Will I get my originals back after you complete my project? A: All photos, slides, negatives, and documents are returned to you in their original condition. They are not harmed in the transfer method that I use. Q: Do I need captions for my photos? A: Adding captions can both make the video more interesting and preserve information that might otherwise be lost. Will anyone else watching the video 10 or 20 or 50 years from now know where the photos were taken or who is in them? With captions they will. Captions are included FREE, so why not add them?
